What this site
keeps

This site has no ads, no analytics, no tracking pixels, and no cookies.

If you sign up

Your email address and the updates you chose go to Buttondown, the service that sends the newsletter. Your IP address is passed along with them so Buttondown can screen out spam signups. Buttondown sends you one email to confirm before you are added.

Your address is used only for the updates you chose. It is never sold or shared. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link, or write to kinetic-trust@proton.me and it will be removed.

While you explore

The trail of rooms and discoveries is kept in your browser tab’s session storage. It is never sent anywhere, and it clears when you close the tab.

Hosting

The site is hosted on Vercel, which keeps short-lived server logs, including IP addresses, to run and secure the service.
